Swayne Johnson Solicitors are committed to supporting important charities as well as offering high quality legal services to our community. Our solicitors work with people who live with dementia on a regular basis, and in support of the Alzheimer’s Society and to mark Dementia Awareness Week, would like to invite everyone to our coffee morning on Thursday, the 19th of May 2016.

Dementia is a set of symptoms that involves memory loss, and difficulties with thinking, problem solving, and language, which occurs due to a number of causes. As each person affected by the condition is unique, and experiences it in their own way – and the condition is often small to start with, but eventually progresses to become severe enough to affect daily life with day-to-day memory, concentration, planning, organizational skill, language, visuospatial skill and orientation affected. Furthermore, dementia is often considered a condition that affects those around a sufferer just as much as the sufferer themselves, due to marked changes in their mood or behaviour. In the later stages of dementia, the sufferer needs more and more support to carry out everyday tasks.

The coffee morning is to take place within our Denbigh offices at 2 Hall Square, Denbigh, from 10am – 12pm noon.

Please join us for tea, coffee, and delicious cake in support of the fantastic Alzheimer’s Society, who work tirelessly to provide information, advice and support for sufferers and carers in order to help them live well with dementia. Their work is extremely vital to the estimated 850,000 people in the UK with dementia in 2015, not to mention their families.

We’re proud to support this charity and would like to encourage the same from all within our local North Wales community. Absolutely everyone is welcome, so please join us at our Denbigh offices for this event.
