Free Seminar Retirement Planning

Posted on 17 Sep 2015

Swayne Johnson Solicitors in North Wales are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with Cullen Wealth Financial Advisers to deliver a helpful seminar on retirement and the issues you may need consider as you approach retirement.

Our seminar is absolutely free to attend and addresses the question ‘Are you coming to terms with growing older?’

In this seminar we will cover important topics such as:
• The Cost of Care
• The Care Act 2014
• Protecting Your Assets
• Pension Changes
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Wills

The potential cost of care can be a concern for many as they approach retirement and so this seminar will give you the information required to plan your retirement effectively while making you aware of the Care Act 2014 and how this can affect your future. The session should reassure those attending and enable them to plan ahead for an easy retirement rather than staying in the dark and leaving everything to chance.

Our own solicitor Krystal Garnett explains:

“Many people are concerned about the potential future cost of care for themselves or a loved one, so we are taking the opportunity to clarify the position and explain some of the steps that people can take with a view to protecting their assets. We will also discuss the Care Act 2014, and what effect this will have on people living in Wales.”

John Millington from Cullen Wealth outlines the importance of reviewing pension agreements:

“Everyone wants a great quality of life in their retirement and to be able to live where they want, holiday when they want and possibly leave an inheritance,” explained John Millington, from Cullen Wealth.

“For many of us that means reviewing our pension arrangements on a regular basis and understanding how the new ‘pension freedom’ rules will affect us.”

The free seminar held by Swayne Johnson Solicitors and Cullen Wealth will take place at the Rhug Estate in Corwen from 10.30 – 12.30 on Tuesday 20 October 2015. Lunch will also be provided at the seminar.

To reserve your place at the seminar please ring Krystal Garnett on 01824 703833.

Address: Rhug Estate, Corwen, LL21 0EH
