What you enjoy about your job

Being able to help people.  Often you meet people who are going through challenging times, such as the loss of a loved one, and being able to help them by offering support, legal advice, and guidance this very rewarding.  Receiving a bunch of flowers or a thank you card from a client who may still be grieving, and knowing you made a difference is very heart-warming.

Over the years, you can also form a real bond with your clients, sometimes acting for multiple generations of the same family.  To me this is one of the highest forms of compliment as it demonstrates the confidence that family has in your legal and technical ability, in addition to the quality of the service you provide. but it is important to have a real depth and understanding of the law.

Other responsibilities and roles

I am a trained Mental Health Champion.  I have also volunteered as a Beaver Leader with our local troop.  I am also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

About you

I enjoy going on walks with my family and our cocker spaniel. I have recently taken up yoga and I also enjoy water sports and swimming.
